1. Information We Collect

Swasthya Health collects personal information such as your email address (via authentication), profile details (name, age, biological sex, weight, height), medical document files and optical vitals logs that you explicitly upload, and fitness telemetry (such as step counts and sleep duration via Google Health Connect or device pedometers).

2. How We Use & Share Your Information

Your data is strictly used to provide core app functionality, analyze health records securely via our backend processing pipeline, and maintain your personal and family health dashboards. We do not share, sell, or disclose your personal or health data to any third parties.

Google Health Connect Compliance: Swasthya Health’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Health Connect will adhere to the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not and will not sell, transfer, or use Health Connect data for third-party advertising, data brokers, or credit scoring.

3. Data Security

All user data is encrypted in transit using standard HTTPS/TLS protocols and stored securely within our authenticated Firebase database and cloud storage environments.

4. Data Retention Policy

We retain your personal information, uploaded medical records, and health metrics only for as long as necessary to provide you with the Swasthya Health service and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy:

• Active Accounts: Your profile data, extracted vitals, uploaded lab reports, and synced Health Connect records are retained for the duration that your account remains active so you can view longitudinal health trends and historical records.
• Inactive Accounts: If your account remains completely inactive for a continuous period of 24 months, we reserve the right to permanently delete your account and purge all associated personal and health data from our servers.
• Retention After Deletion Request: When you request account or data deletion, all personal data, health logs, and uploaded files are permanently deleted from our active production databases and cloud storage within 7 business days, and any residual encrypted system backups are automatically overwritten and purged within 30 days.

5. Data Deletion & Account Removal

You have the right to request the complete deletion of your account and all associated data stored on our servers at any time. To request account and data deletion, please send an email to our support team:

Please include your account email address and "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line. Once received, our team will permanently delete your user account, authentication records, health metrics, and stored files within 7 business days in accordance with our Data Retention Policy.
